We disclaim all liability, in whole or in part, for any fault or order of the client, as well as for any unforeseen, unavoidable, or force majeure circumstances, such as:
traffic disruptions, traffic jams, demonstrations, roadworks, breakdowns; accidents; strikes; demonstrations; weather conditions and inclement weather; telecommunications network malfunctions, labor or equipment shortages; flight or baggage delays; and vehicle technical failures.
Any compensation not entirely attributable to the company will be limited to the coverage provided by our insurance.
*It is essential to notify us if you will be transporting bulky luggage so that we can arrange a suitable vehicle.
RMB TRANSPORTS GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (effective January 1, 2015)
Michel BERNARD Services, operating under the trade name RMB TRANSPORTS, provides transportation services for hire using chauffeured vehicles with fewer than 9 seats, exclusively by reservation, at a pre-defined price, and school transportation services for students with disabilities.
Its activity has been authorized:
by the Ministry of Transport with the issuance of license no. 2022/32/0001219 « Public
Road Transport of Passengers » (LOTI Law).
by the Prefect of Pas-de-Calais, operating authorization VPR no. 62-0402.
by the Ministry of Transport, registration in the register of operators of chauffeured vehicles no. EVTC062140003. Michel BERNARD also holds professional taxi driver’s license no. 120856
for the Pas-de-Calais department.
The registered office of Michel BERNARD Services is located at 7 bis rue du 19 Mars in Thélus (62580).
The company is registered with the Arras Trade Register under no. 514 539 444 RM59, and with the Registry
of the Commercial Court under no. 514539444 RCS Arras.
- PURPOSE
These General Terms and Conditions define the terms applicable to transport service contracts concluded between RMB TRANSPORTS and its clients.
By using RMB TRANSPORTS’ services, the client is presumed to have read and fully accepted these
General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
- FORMATION OF THE TRANSPORT SERVICE CONTRACT
2.1. Customer Request for Services

2.2. Content of the Service Request
The customer provides all information regarding their service request. They are solely responsible for this information, the following of which are considered essential to the contract: date of the transport service, pick-up location, drop-off location, pick-up time, number of passengers (adult/child), number of pieces of luggage, and type of service (airport shuttle, private or shared; other journey).
2.3 Price Determination by Michel BERNARD Services
RMB TRANSPORTS sets the price of the service based, in particular, on the information provided by the customer. This price is inclusive of all taxes. It is fixed and final except in the cases outlined in Section 5 below.
2.4 Price Acceptance and Payment
If the client accepts the price, they confirm their service request and pay the corresponding amount. Payment is made in cash or by credit card. For other payment methods accepted by RMB TRANSPORTS, invoices are payable at RMB TRANSPORTS’ head office on the due date.
Failing payment, RMB TRANSPORTS may demand the payment of interest and late payment penalties, as well as damages. RMB TRANSPORTS is committed to ensuring the confidentiality of all personal data provided by the client.
2.5 Issuance of a Booking Confirmation by RMB TRANSPORTS
After the client confirms their service request and pays the price, RMB TRANSPORTS will send them, by email or on paper, a booking confirmation summarizing the service details.
The prior booking must be verifiable, in the event of an inspection, by means of a booking confirmation (paper or electronic), which must include the following information:
- Name or company name and contact details of the business operating the service,
- Operating license registration number,
- Name and telephone number of the client requesting the transport service,
- Date and time of the prior booking made by the client,
- Date and time of pick-up requested by the client,
- Pick-up location indicated by the client.
The client is responsible for verifying the information on the booking confirmation.
