Banking Data
Financial transactions relating to the payment of purchases and fees are handled by a payment service provider, Stripe (the “Payment Provider”), which ensures their proper execution and security. The service provider collects and stores, for the duration of your registration on the platform and at least until you complete your last transaction, your personal data relating to your bank card numbers, on our behalf and for our account. We do not have access to this data. By checking the box specifically provided for this purpose on the platform, you give us your explicit consent for this storage.
The data relating to the visual cryptogram or CVV2, printed on your bank card, is not stored.
Upon proof of identity and if the conditions for exercising these rights are met, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority), and your right to determine the fate of your data after your death by contacting the service provider or by contacting us directly (see Article 13 below).
In any event, your data may be retained for thirteen (13) months following the debit date, for evidentiary purposes in the event of a dispute concerning the transaction, in accordance with Article L.133-24 of the French Monetary and Financial Code. This period may be extended to fifteen (15) months to account for the possibility of using deferred debit payment cards.
Regarding other financial data (e.g., payments, refunds, etc.), it is retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
If your account has been suspended or blocked, we retain your data for up to ten (10) years from the date of suspension to prevent any circumvention of the rules set forth in our Terms of Service.
Please read Stripe’s privacy policy for more details.
